Leading from trust
Recent studies show that an alarmingly low proportion of people living in developed economies think the world will be better for the next generation.
So, when faced with a feeling of hopelessness, what’s our role as leaders? Is it to “fake it ‘til we make it”, or to have compassion for the part of us that feels afraid?
And in a world drifting further towards authoritarianism, what role does trust have to play?
These questions are at the heart of my conversation with my guest on this week’s episode of my Fearless Forward podcast: executive coach and author Dr John Blakey.
John's mission is clear: to help leaders become a force for good in a world that urgently needs it.
Drawing on his doctoral research, his acclaimed books, and his own impeccable leadership credentials, John offers firsthand insights into the challenges leaders face building trust within their organisations.
Listen in to learn:
Ways of meeting and overcoming these challenges to drive exceptional results.
How to recognise and share success.
How your fear of success may be limiting your potential.
A key question to ask yourself every day to become the leader you want the world to see.
With love from the mountain,
Sally-Anne
