What does it mean to face our fears?
It means noticing what’s shaping our thoughts and actions, and taking the time to understand how and why.
Because the fears we faced as children – at the hands of bullies who saw us as different, or adults who couldn’t meet our needs – can constrain us in later life, or become something we learn to live with and move through.
This is at the heart of my conversation with Happy Startup School co-founder
in this week’s episode of the Fearless Forward podcast. And he should know.
With a PhD in atomic physics, Carlos transitioned from science and digital advertising to co-founding a digital studio and eventually dedicating himself to creating programmes and events that foster connection, learning, and personal growth.
But even more fascinating is his own journey through all this. From the precocious young child finding his place in a new country and culture to the highly accomplished adult finding his place in the world, Carlos has discovered ways of moving through fear that have brought him closer than ever to the work that’s his to do.
Listen to this episode to explore:
How to embrace fear and work through it rather than suppress it.
How to align your work with your values and create meaningful connections with others.
How self-awareness can enhance your creativity and resilience.
With love from the mountain,
